Our tour was a result of over two years of effort on the part of a committee appointed by the Society's late President Donald E. Johnson. The Tour began in September and reached into early October 1999. Some 88 veterans, their families and friends met in Paris. Some had already started their journey with a short sojourn in London.

Paris

Paris welcomed us as only that city can. Our hotel was in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower and offered easy access to the sounds and sights of the city, including the museums, cafes, and just the Parisians themselves. Were we looking at them or they at us?
